The heritage behind Noble Hands

Meet the Craftsman

Jeremiah De Guzman

My journey in woodworking began with my grandfathers, who practiced their trade in Japan before retiring in the Philippines.

As far back as I can remember, they were woodworkers. Their work included Shinto and Buddhist shrines and temples, furniture, doors, and other wooden structures.

They taught me the foundations of the craft. I continued developing those skills through independent learning, experimentation, and hands-on experience.

I value traditional hand tools, especially Japanese hand saws and hand planes. They remind me that careful work takes patience, precision, and respect for the material.

Today I carry those lessons into custom fencing, decks, and woodworking projects here in Colorado. My work may look different from the temples and shrines my grandfathers built, but their teachings remain part of every project.

Honoring the hands that taught me, while building something meaningful for the generations to come.
